I’m in the lavender place
sweet with wood smoke and cedar.
crickets chirp, fireflies flicker,
bullfrogs bark.
.
silent moon observes,
stars and I await the wishes.
darkness suffocates and overwhelms.
from the black, a light appears,
I know as you

Aside from admiring your ability to paint a sensual scene, I love how the poem itself is shaped, almost like a full moon reflecting itself in the water
