through the bathroom window
illuminates
your furrowed brow
as you search
for a word.
scratching one out
with the stub
of your pencil —
something
doesn’t fit
is it a dream
that has brought
phrases to your mind —
unrelated thoughts
that will one day
find a home?

I am my own home ….and my thoughts are as deep as an ocean who can fathom it? can you measure the deepness of an abyss?
